About Rosemont

Rosemont College offers Momentum Alliance members reduced tuition for its accredited online associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees as well as professional certificates.

Rosemont College was founded in 1921, and today is home to 500 traditional undergraduates at its beautiful 58-acre campus in suburban Philadelphia.

A History of Empowerment Through Education

Rosemont College is on a mission—and it’s the same one it has been on for 100 years—to provide access to a quality education to students who, by investing in their own success, are positioned to make a positive impact in their families, workplaces, communities, and broader society.

This commitment to empowerment began in 1921, when Rosemont opened as a women’s college—and less than 8% of women had access to a higher education. Today, Rosemont has expanded its ability to support students from all backgrounds in evolving their lives through education through the Rosemont Momentum Program.

Rosemont is proud to offer Momentum alliance employees and their families unique access to a transformative Rosemont education through a substantial tuition discount for our online degrees and certificates.

A Foundation of Shared Values

Through the Rosemont Momentum Program, the college aims to serve students who are employed at organizations or government entities with values that align with Rosemont.

Rosemont welcomes students of all faiths, but remains guided by the educational philosophy of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus that founded Rosemont College. These values include:

  • Trust in and reverence for the dignity of each person;
  • Diversity with a commitment to building an intercultural community;
  • Persistence and courage in promoting justice with compassion;
  • Care for the Earth as our common home.
